Early Learning Connections is currently accepting applications for the Director of Early Learning Programs. The Director develops, coordinates, and oversees the Early Learning Programs in accordance with appropriate performance standards. In addition to managing and supervising all service areas including ERSEA, Family Services, Education, Curriculum, Health/Nutrition the Director will work in conjunction with CEO and management team collaborate with the facilities and fiscal departments to identify improvement needs throughout the programs. Director will monitor related activities with Federal/State Head Start, Early Head Start, Pre-K Counts, HSSAP, Child Care, and ITCS. Additional skills include: a strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the organizations mission and vision, ability to interpret financial data and prepare program budgets, experience writing and seeking grants, preferably through Head Start and OCDEL The Director of Early Learning Programs must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or a related field from an accredited college or university. A Master’s Degree is preferred. In addition, three (3) years of experience working with families, preferably low-income preferred, three (3) years of experience working with preschool aged children preferred five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred.
As a member of the management team of Early Learning Connections the Education Director coordinates and oversees all educational services and activities in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards, PA Early Learning Standards, Pre-K Counts, HSSAP, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards, for children and families in Armstrong and Butler Counties. The Education Director must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from an accredited college or university. A Master’s Degree in Education is preferred. Must have at least three (3) years work experience with young children. Must have supervisory experience, 3 years is preferred.
Early Learning Connections is currently accepting applications for the position of Infant/Toddler Program Leader. This is a full-time position. $13.34-$14.52 based on education and experience. MINIMUM Qualifications: Unrelated B.S. degree with 2 years of paid experience working with children, or AA in Early Childhood Education with 2 years of experience working with children ages 0-5 or an Infant Toddler CDA with 2 years of experience working with children ages 0-5. PREFERRED Qualifications: B.S. or B.A. in Early Childhood Education, or B.S./B.A. in related field with 30 ECE credits. Experience working with children and families.
Early Learning Connections is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Teacher for Head Start. An associate degree in early childhood, or a current CDA is preferred, or a bachelor’s degree in any field and experience working with preschool children will be considered or preschool experience and willingness to complete a CDA program. The hourly rate is - $12.89 (enrolled in CDA) to $16.11 per hour based on education plus benefits.

Early Learning Connections is currently accepting applications for Early Head Start Parent Educators; three positions are available. BA or BS degree in human services, early childhood education, human development, or a related field preferred. Must have knowledge and experience of child development and early childhood education including principles of child health, safety, and nutrition. Must have knowledge of community resources. This is a full time/full year position. Candidate must also hold a valid PA driver’s license, good driving record, ability to travel throughout Butler County. Previous experience providing direct services to low-income families and child development experience is preferred. Hourly rate $15.83 - $17.94
